Bhilwara got its name from the fact that the Bhil tribals inhabited the place in the past. The best time to visit Bhilwara is between October to March. Summers are best avoided to visit the place. Dabok airport is the nearest airport from Bhilwara. Bhilwara is connected to major cities of India through a good network of trains. Bhilwara can be easily reached by a well network of roads as well.
